They can immediately run diagnostics when there is an issue, and no one on your team needs to be the focal IT person who communicates with offshore help. Your local MSP is right there to help. However, that isn’t the only reason many US businesses and corporations choose to go local.

There is no limitation on your area and business location when it comes to ordering new devices, new software, or new hardware models. Localities are never burdensome in a market that thrives on global efficiency and shipping equipment in a timely manner. 

That being said, there is a limitation for global MSPs, and that is brand scale. This specifically is true of brand workers who can help on-site and make the big decisions for which equipment is best.  

Where there is no limitation in sending equipment, there certainly is often a limitation on setting up equipment after it arrives. It’s also more difficult for global MSPs to pinpoint the perfect solution for software programs with a company that isn’t accessible to their professionals.

Because of this one key factor, local MSPs have a significant upper edge in the global and local dichotomy. And, again, the U.S. is the number one source on the planet for efficient MSPs. With a local company, there’s little room for unforeseen issues.
